time to stop being lazy!

GIVEAWAY: zesty

 So this is the first summer in about four years that i have not had a summer life guarding job! last summer i was a making a cool 12 bucks an hour! This summer i make 20 bucks a week for watching my lil sister in the morning. Yea i'd say its a downgrade. but since this summer has started i have been doing nada ZIP ZERO ZILCH. this is so not like me so i am going to come up with a list and try to do at least on thing every day for the rest of the summer.
  1. clean up room
  2. redo math placement test
  3. bake veggie girl Blondie's
  4. sell all clothes i have never worn
  5. Do yoga every day
  6. Find all roommates
  7. crafts
  8. get a tan
  9. Find out what i need to bring down to FIU
  10. have a spa day
  11. email a health place if they need volunteers
  12. get my dad to ask about babysitting to his employees (he is their boss.mwahahaha)
  13. Buy an ipod touch???? 
  14. Buy for dorm
  15. Re do my blog and make it pretty
  16. Sign up for SGBB over at oh she glows 
  17. Operation beautiful
  18. Make bread
  19. make seitan
  20. Make my roommates a gift or baking good
  21. do yoga with zoey
  22. learn to skim or at least get on a wave
  23. make an easy college cookbook to bring with me
  24. Play more poker with the boy
  25. Get dressed up for a night out with the boy
  26. Find out what classes i want to take
  27. make hummus
  28. go kyaking
  29. make an article of clothing
  30. Write a list of jobs i would love to do (not looking at wages)
  31. Fix my bike and ride down town
  32. Pick up trash on the beach
  33. find a free yoga class
  34. exercise on the beach .... but a fun way
What else should i do? i want to be more productive and not sitting on my comp for hours or watching tv for hours.

Alright on to the food...
 Last night i wanted pasta but there was no pasta in sight but there was
  • 2 Bruschetta Tomato Basil Parmesan boca patties 
  • marinara sauce
  • ricotta chesse 

and for some reason i got the munchies  so i munched on
  • an ice bar
  • spoonful of zoey's pb chocolate milkshake
  • spoon of ice cream
  • half a piece of toast with toasted marsh mellow
  • ice tea
  • a bite of pizza crust 
haha yea this is what happens when i cant make up my mind, i find humor in it.

YOGA
This morning i woke up and did another INTENSE yoga class from YOGATODAY.COM. it was the "transforming fear into courage and self confidence" lots of chaturangas, downward dogs, lots of arm strength. They also introduced hand and headstands( i can not do these yet but its something to work on) it was an hour long i really enjoyed this one a lot and cant wait to master it!  
this class like all their classes (all about an hour long) was $3.99. Compare that to DVD's you buy for $15 for 30min sessions

Brekkie 
was overnight oat bran

  • 1/3 cup oat bran
  • 1/3cup water
  • 2/3 cup almond milk
  • spoonful of okios Greek vanilla yogurt
  • Tsp of vanilla
  • sprinkle of sweetener
  • 1/3 smooshed banana
All of those soaked overnight in the morning i added
  • chopped up dried cherries
  • 1 TBSP of melted WCW peanut butter
  • colorful sprinkles for a nice touch and a lil crunch
At first i wasn't sure if i liked it but after adding he pb i fell in love. This is the perfect brekkie for a hot morning.

  1. Love the veggie burger combo, ricotta cheese is delicious! Looks like a great list, if you need an itouch consider getting a macbook--Apple has promotions for college students, a free itouch with the purchase of a computer.

  2. love your list! I hate sitting around doing nothing too...yoga on the beach sounds awesome :) maybe there is some sort of class you would like- I don't know what...I am looking into a writing or cooking class.

    Your dinner looks delicious and LOVE the sprinkles on your oatbran :D
