friends share friends awesomeness

hello girls!
well today is Wednesday and i leave Friday at 7AM! ekkk needless to say i have been packing this week like a mad women.
Packing = relizations
  1. i have A LOT of clothing
  2. i have A LOT of tea
  3. I have A LOT of food
  4. I have A LOT of make up
Ekkk but of course being Nicole i am bringing 98% of it. haha

OK anyway on to food...

yesterday i mad nestle toll house chocolate chip cookies.

Any one else out there obsessed with friends?

It is a tradition in my family on the 1st day of school my mom bakes these cookies so when we come home we have right out of the oven cookies with milk and discuss our 1st day. This year my mom had a very busy day so i made the cookies, it went well but of course it is different then when my mom made them.
I had one with a strawberry protein smoothie as my lunch

seriously soooo yummy, home made chocolate chip cookies w/almond milk is probably my favorite dessert sooo good.

TODAY.
I ate a yogurt mess for brekkie with some coffee. But it was nothing special. so i am going to show you another ezpz recipe. I am roasting nuts to bring with me to college for healthy snacking. This is how i roast them and they are soooooo good. raw pecans are yummy but these are AMAZING!

EZPZ RECIPE:
healthy roasting pecans

  1. preheat the oven 350 f
  2. spray baking sheet with pam or butter if you rather
  3. soak raw pecans in luke warm water for 5 min. the water is going to be slightly brown.
  4. use a Coriander to strain the water and repeat soaking the pecans 2 more times.
  5. spread the pecans on the baking sheet, one layer try to make the pecans not over lap too much.
  6. sprinkle the desired amount of salt on top of nuts
  7. bake for 20 min stirring the nuts every 5 minutes. make sure they do not get too brown.
  8. take out and let cool
optional: you can add any spices to the nuts, or even sugar before baking them i just wanted to keep them simple and yummy.
Easy and yummy!

Have a great day girls!

  7. I adore Friends. I'm sad that I haven't watched it in a while, it's one of the few shows that I will laugh every single episode, many many times.

The fresh cookie and protein shake combo just looks amazing. It's like the amped up version of cookies and milk.

And roasted nuts are to DIE for.
