hello beautiful girls last couple days have been busy/fun....
COLLEGE.
This week is W.O.W week (week of welcome) and so many things are happening including, laser tag, comedian. hypnotist, movie, comedian, etc so much fun so much excitement around the school.
Today and yesterday i had my 1st day of classes which were chemistry 1 and public speaking, pre calc, English. I had a lot of fun, even though we were just going over the syllabus.lol but it made me feel all grown up. Im pretty pumped to see how this year plays out. I am meeting a lot of people, and so far i really like my roommates.
I have been walking around the campus looking into many clubs, they have over 300 once i find the ones i am going to stick with i'll be sure to tell you pretty girls.
YOGA/work out
Yes i am still doing yoga, im trying every day but it is at least every other day so far. I am walking around A LOT. Yesterday i did 45mins of Yogatoday.com campus "turning fear into courage" this class is very hard i was sweating. They also do hand/headstands but since i have not even done these in a class i do back bends/bridges instead. My arms felt like jelly for a couple of hours later!
I also did 20 min bike (reading my textbook killing two birds in one stone) and i did 12 min on the elliptical. It was good after this little cardio seash. i do not do much cardio any more so i just had fun with it and went at my pace instead of killing myself like i used to.
today i wasn't able to go to the gym soooo much stuff to do but tomorrow for sure + some yoga hopefully.
FOOD.
EZPZ snack:
- Banana
- Peanut butter ( i used WcW)
- roasted pecans
- cut banana in half
- spread WCW peanut butter on, i put prob a lil more then a tbsp
- lay pecan halves on top of banana
- cut banana in pieces according to each nut to make little bits
This was such an awesome simple/fast snackum before my next class. the flavors melded so well, this would be awesome between some whole wheat potato bread!lol
EZPZ
getting A's.
This is just my study routine and i seem to do very well with it if not a's, b's.
- write notes as simple as you can. instead of writing a HUGE sentence try to cut it in half and take the main idea. this way it will be easier to remember and understand.
- Do NOT cram at all. Study each night/day for about 10-20 min and each night re-read the notes you read before, and soon you will know everything.
- make your own quizzes, this is a lot of fun, or at least to me and then you can help others around you
- Teach other people the material. going over the material to your friend will glue all the info to your head, since when you are teaching others you are using simpler speech that you understand instead of book language.
- if you are reading your text book write main ideas/equations/vocab words on a post it and stick it on the page so you do not have to keep re-reading the WHOLE chapter over and over.
- if you do not understand something ask the teacher and it will be simplier or google the question it will be on the Internet.
- keep learning fun, find a way to will have fun learning, since i am a geek i love the feeling that i am becoming smarter with each class. GEEK ALERT haha
- and again DO NOT CRAM! The point of going to college/school is to learn cramming is only retained for a couple hours, trust me i crammed to much in 9th/10th grade.
